Bethany Baptist Church in Callao, Virginia is hiring a Family Minister.
Bethany Baptist Church is a Virginia Baptist Church affiliated with the Rappahannock Baptist Association, the Baptist General Association of Virginia, and the Southern Baptist Convention. The average weekly attendance is 130 adults and approximately 30 children and youth.
The Family Minister will work closely with the senior pastor and other leadership members of the church to provide fellowship and spiritual growth opportunities to our families. This is an intergenerational ministry position that will work with all ages, from the cradle to college and their parents and extended families. The goal of this position is to work with and guide families to Christ, thus creating disciples for the next generation. The person in this position will work under the goal of reaching people for Christ by building relationships with members of not only our church, but our local community and beyond. In addition, this person will provide leadership, organization, and training to other ministry leaders and volunteers in our church.

Education and Experience
– Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree with additional certifications preferred
– Related ministerial experience preferred but not required
– Prior full time ministry experience preferred, but not required
– A willingness to obtain the necessary training and degree certifications if not currently held

Position Structure:
– Full Time = 40 hours per week
– Benefit package is negotiable
– Ministry expense coverage
– Salary will be negotiable based on experience and qualifications
